Fellow Position, Plastic an Reconstructive Surgery, Flinders Medical Centre - South Australia
We are seeking applicants for a 12 month position at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide for
a Fellow in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery commencing August 2020. The position is
not sub-specialty specific but gives exposure to a wide range of elective and emergency
plastic surgery activity including breast reconstruction, hands, paediatric, facial fractures,
abdominoplasty and breast reduction, free flap reconstructions and head and neck cancer.
Flinders Medical Centre is a University Teaching Hospital and the unit consists of 9
consultants, 4 registrars and 5 junior doctors.

Every year The Dutch Association for Facial and Reconstructive Surgery offers 52 fellowships of 3 months each in various European and Indian plastic surgery units. Fellowships are available for ST8 trainees or if you have finished training within two years of the fellowship start date. More information is available here.
